Soft spot in deck

Had my '03 2520 deck repaired. Same deal moisture seeped in most likely from the rear hatch. Basically the back third of the deck needed repair. Had a professional do it since the false transom needed to be cut to get access to where the good wood was. Took about a month total. Looks great and we're gonna take her out hopefully on Tuesday to see how she does. Work was done by Mark at Monsoon Yacht Service here in San Diego.

FWIW the orings from the above post cross to inch size exactly. # 254 .139 CS x 5.484 ID . A #253 is the same cross section and a slightly smaller diam for a tighter fit. On my covers the orig orings seem to be glued in , anybody else seen this??

yes, mine seemed to glued in as well. Was a PITA to clean
