Looks good remember take ur time sanding flat and hiding the seams if there is pores in the glass sand them down a bit and mix up a batch of cab o sil and spread then and evenly to fill in

Thanks all for the kind words on the glass. I watched "Boatworkstoday" enough times on YouTube I should be a pro by now! Ha

Next up is gelcoat. I had spoken with parker about this project a few months back and they were kind enough to send me enough gelcoat to redo the nonskid on the entire boat! I couldn't thank them enough. So today I'm going to remove the shrink wrap and start cleaning with acetone for new nonskid!

I know you already did the job, but epoxy and polyester laminating resin are not compatible.

They will separate over time. Most epoxy produces an Amine Blush upon curing that needs to be removed before the next layer is put on, Poly laminating resin cannot overcome that.

Which laminating resin did you use?

You referring to my use of Gitrot before poly glass layup?

I knew of that rule of thumb and put a good bit of thought and research into it before I went that route... I contacted Boatlife and spoke with them. Their guy told me it would be no problem. And I also removed the blush after the git-rot set up for 2+ weeks with 50grit. I felt confident in the fact that I was only using the gitrot on a very small section in the center of my repair where Poly resin would surround it on all sides.

Anyway... thats that. We'll see how it lasts long term! I used Hi-Bond Boatyard Laminating Resin.

What repair?
Up close pics tomorrow or next day after it fully cures... You guys think I should give it 24hr before I walk on it?
(the purple dot between the inspection plates is a speck on my camera lens... ha
