Hey guys

I am in the market for a new boat in the coming months, and have narrowed the list down to a 1801 or a 2100SE. As most of my fishing will be done inshore in shallow water (with occasional offshore trips on calmer days), a trolling motor is going to be an essential part of my fishing. With that being said, I was hoping to find some people who have 1801s or 2100SE's with trolling motors or trolling tabs who could share some advice/insight on their rigs. For either boat, I would like to install the trolling motor in line with the curvature of the bow or parallel/inline with the boat. As one of my requirements will be the forward raised fishing platform, I will want room to go up there and fish and throw the cast net without having to worry about the trolling motor getting in the way when it is stored. Any advice on the install, the lb. thrust needed (or chosen), battery setup/placement would be very appreciated. Any feedback would be helpful!

Crystal Coaster,
From another Parker owner on the crystal coast-
I have an 1801 mounted with a bow mounted Minn Kota Rip Tide ST, remote pilot, 60" shaft, 80# thrust, 24v with batteries mounted in the console. Works great for getting around inside. I have some pictures on another post here on CP. If you do a search you can see how I chose to mount it.
