Questions re: a Groco setup:

1. I have a 2100CC with a factory installed combo baitwell washdown pump sitting on top of the through hull. At the moment, I only have a baitwell, but there is an outlet for a washdown pump. Will the intake of the Groco unit work properly off this pump? I'm pretty sure I do not want another hole in the bottom of my boat.

2. I'm thinking of installing the Groco inside my center console and putting the outlet on the side of the console. Is that too much "head" (forgive me) from the stern where the intake valve and pump are located? It's not a lot of height off the stern, but it is about seven feet away.

3. If I did install in the center console, how would I get the hose from the transom intake up to the console?

It's a new 2100.

Thanks.

I would mount the same pump Parker uses (believe it's a Jabsco Par Max) in the bilge beside the livewell pump. A short piece of hose to connect them. Put the hose bib on side of rear jump seat, plumb from inside.

The Par Max will come with pressure sensor built in and the spray handle. Be sure not to use the little diameter pre-coiled hoses. Most common reason pumps fail. Check your Parker wiring, you might already have a wire there. If not, pretty sure there's a space on bussbar in console. Be sure to switch it.

If you want to install in console, Parker CC's are really easy to rig. Open deck plate over fuel tank. Remove 4 screws holding vinyl boot in console, raise boot. Easy to fish between the two. I like to use the plastic split wire loom to protect.
