Has anyone used one common seacock from an existing livewell intake, and utilized it for adding a washdown pump as well? Is there any reason why not to do this? The idea of less holes in the boat appeals to me initially, without knowing better why I shouldn't.

You need a livewell pump that has a secondary outlet to feed a washdown pump. Check out out the Shurflo BaitSentry. I have one on my boat. Works great.

96TL, It sounds like a perfect solution. I haven't gone to check out the pump you mentioned yet, but diid you mean the pump's "pressure output" T's off for direct connection to a hose? Or did you mean the pump's "inlet" from the seacock T's off to supply a washdown pump's inlet? I somehow imagined the Rule pump that's feed my livewell as a very low-pressure type pump that would not develop enough pressure to washdown.
