Good luck to all you guys. Unfortunately, it's not looking good for me this year unless I get a window of opportunity after Christmas.

B, I'll send you "the spread". :D

Today is just a perfect day and I'm on land doing chores :(

It does not look good for those who want to fish the CBBT starting Saturday. Right now the fish are anywhere from the high rise on up past Occohonnack Creek. I think this next blow will concentrate them a little better down toward Cape Charles and Kiptopeake..... so it should go from good to "Better".

I'm heading off to Greenville SC for 5 days and when I get back I'll be fishing the 21st, 22nd and 23rd.

Richard, I'll be down there to fish on Friday the 21st.
I'll be with Capt Skip Slomski on his Parker 23SE, and staying at the Chez Kipto Inn...
I'll look for you on the water.

I was out on Friday and stuck to my spots over by bouy 18. From listening to a radio and watching the boats in the area I could tell the big fish were few and far between. The trollers were frustrated as they were having trouble finding large areas of bait.

We had three runs but nothing hooked up and nothing came into the boat. First skunk eeling this year.

I decided to sit out this Saturday. The winds are kicking and the bite is slowing.... a sad time of the year.

Gotta report Capt?? :D

(did you miss a pilothouse fishing in Dec?)

Nothing like a December day on the water to remind you that you are happy with your boat
