    23se trolling motor mounting

If you can't reach the thru-bolts, than that is not a suitable location for mounting. Would you be able to post a picture of where you want to install the TM? I don't understand why you are struggling with thru-bolts as their is a very accessible area at the bow to mount your baseplate...

I'm finding that a PH is not good for drifting in confined area

Agreed, and assumed that was common sense. Any instrument or tool on a boat is to aid the captain and crew but is no substitute for situational awareness. I think this comes into play quite often regarding autopilot. Lots of accidents occur from lack of awareness and complacency.

    Factory tour

No, not at all. Just call Parker and schedule it. If it were me and I was making that drive up, I'd make a day of it: Go visit the Jones Brothers Marine factory: they are only 8 minutes from each other.

I'm finding that a PH is not good for drifting in confined area

Don't you have a 2120? I never found the PH to be obstructive. You just have to look around, over and through it to monitor your drift. Also, a bow mounted trolling motor will allow you to dictate your drifts course, speed, avoid obstacles, spot lock on structure if you drift over a big...

    Factory tour

What would be your goal for doing a tour? To see the way your boat is put together? To quality control inspect? If it's just for fun, make a 4 day weekend out of it. If it's to put eyes on your prize to makesure it's done correctly or to affirm that is exactly how you want it done, then that...

Time to Change the Engine Oil ...... Oil Guys

About 4 weeks ago, I bought my son a used Honda TRX90 four wheeler. As I do with all my used motors I buy, I serviced it immediately, then put her to use. I used Mobile 1 synthetic 4 stroke oil. My son did one lap with the 4 wheeler and came up to me " dad, this seems hard to shift"...

    Enthol vs non-enthol

I am in the ethanol free camp: My new Parker, my skiff, my old Parker, my whaler, zero turn mower, small engines ( chain saws, edges, blowers, weed wackers, pole saws): Nothing except my wife's Yukon XL get anything but 91 octane ethanol free... My truck gets diesel.

How are you guys sealing screw holes?

4200 will be perfect for your cooler chocks or tie down system. No, don't let the adhesive sealant kick. Install it completely while wet. clean any excess away immediately.

    Installing Parker Rod Holder

As posted above, the Gemlux deluxe rod holders and the Gemlux backing plates are an identical match. (less the Parker stamp) on my 2021 2320. I added a single Lees HD 15degree in the far aft stbd corner facing back and two just aft to the pilothouse bulkhead on either side in the washboard...

    Storage in 2320 pilot house

I have a 2021 Parker 2320. Yes, the two locations in the berth have storage boxes with hinged lids. As noted, RainX once a month on the windshields is perfect. I do not find storage a limiting factor. You have the entire V Berth to put gear. It's a really well laid out boat...now w/ the...

2320 Repower and possible Tank Move

Just to clarify Warts comment: I'm pretty sure he is saying don't downsize the tank, don't move the tanks location... He is not saying leave the current tank. Definitely do a tank job if you are committed to that project now: the fuel system is only good for about 20 years.... yours is on...

    Buyer Beware

Did you inspect the wiring? If it's going through pumps like that, I would suspect the circuit going to/ from that pump is compromised with corrosion increasing resistance, lack of voltage, burns the pump...
