    Burning oil 2015 F300 UCA

My engine has been running perfectly, however back in August when I did my oil changes I noticed I was a little over 2 quarts low. I thought maybe I didn't put the correct amount in on the previous change. When my mechanic came yesterday to winterize me we found that I was again 2 quarts low ( I...

    LED 30" Anchor Light Replacement

The one I have is either 30 or 32 inches and mounted up top in the usual spot on a 2520.

    LED 30" Anchor Light Replacement

Well I wasn't happy about it but I ordered the light from Amazon for 106. Can't take the present light falling over all season

    Concerned about Parker purchase

Have the issue addressed before you take delivery, I'm sure it will be taken care of though

    Parker colors question

I agree 100%. While some of the colors look great at some point either you will have a boo-boo or someone will and trying to match that color will be almost impossible

Ran our new 2520XL today is she propped correctly?

Those numbers look good to me. I got 5800 with the Yamaha SWS prop on my 300 and a Deep Vee

    Jigging Bluefins

Exactly what I said years ago, that first guide is too far from the grip and the way the rod loads up is a disaster waiting to happen. After seeing my friend hyper ventilate 30 seconds in we showed it to his wife and she signed him up to the gym. His new nickname is Cardio Chris lol

    Jigging Bluefins

I told him those trevala suck lol. I bought one a few years ago and on the first cast I had a 120-140 lb bluefin. I almost lost my thumb because of the way they bend. I only use trevala for bass and tile fish. My go to jigging rod is a Black Hole Cape Cod which I have a 250,350 and 450 gram sticks

    Jigging Bluefins

Here is a video from a couple weeks back. Some people might pick up a few pointers in it, like when to gaff a fish, how to thumb the spool when trying to finish off a larger tuna.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed15WKG ... SCBQsI8cow Please note I was only a month in after rotator cuff surgery...

    Replacing Pedestals

Well I am going to put this off until I get some positive feedback. No sense in investing if not worth it

Has anyone purchased any of these pro pedestals? Looking for some feedback before dropping a grand

    Replacing Pedestals

I am thinking of buying a pair of pro pedestals. Are the pedestals installed with a lag screw or is it bolted though with a nut?

    First Canyon Run

The end game is very important with tuna. I have auto pilot and I never take it out of gear when we are hooked up. 3 guys are perfect for these type trips, one to the rod and the other 2 to leader and gaff. As long as everyone keeps calm and does their job you will be successful, experience and...

New 2019 Parker 2520XL Power and Pricing

If you are going new I would order in Sept. You will be able to get the most kickbacks at that time. Parker offers incentives as well as the dealers and you will avoid any price increases come January. I am pretty sure both the XL and DV are offered with a 300 or twins but not a single 250...

Price paid for a new Parker?

I ordered my 2015 in Sept of 2014. At his time I got the most kickbacks I possibly could receive. Parker gave me a discount to keep their workers busy during the winter and the dealer also gave me a bunch of discounts. Bottom line was that I paid 90k when the sticker price was going to be 117 in...

    Running at night

Not that I like to do it, BUT I run a few canyon trips each year on my 2520. I installed an remote ACR light and make great use of it spotting bouys and markers on my way to the inlet when we leave the dock at 1 am and have to travel over 70 NM to a canyon. I hit power once and dim all my...
