    Rear deck hatch

I don’t think they make the exact same one anymore, but they still make the same size Look for a tempress hatch 13x23. Double check the measurements.

    This is cool

Some of the portable mini kitchens for overlanding are pretty interesting. I don't think I'll follow through on this, but I've contemplated a box that I could mount where one of my rear seats is since they remove fairly easy with four screws. That way I keep the box it's mounted on (and fresh...

    Trailer question

The only thing I can think of is that your springs are too soft for that amount of weight. Once the boat is loaded they compress and get longer but the only place to distribute that extra length is by tilting the equalizer like in your photos. This doesn't make much sense though since you have...

    2300 Stickers?

My decals are pretty well beat up so I’ve been debating updating to the newer raised style but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Still need to measure to check the size. https://www.chromeemblems.com/auto-emblems/letters-numbers/style-6-chrome

    Re painting non skid, 2501

If it's gelcoat you're going to want to primer first. If it's already paint, it's safer to do a quick coat of primer. And some kind of de-waxing surface prep cleaner will be important regardless.

    Re painting non skid, 2501

The smooth line is just the boundary that was taped off the last time someone did the nonskid. It doesn't have any real function for the water on the deck, but it's going to make the job much much easier to tape off those edges again with a little distance from the vertical surface so you can...

    Bean Bag Deck Chairs

Even if they're cheap you should try to avoid losing one in the ocean. I can't imagine how many little pieces of styrofoam are waiting to break out of one of these things.

    2110 side window

https://www.onedayglass.com/ Never used them personally, it's just the first thing that popped up for custom tempered glass. But unlike some places, you can enter dimensions and get a quote without having to give your name, address, pet name, social security #

    Wire labels

pelagic, seeing your wiring gives me an idea to clean up my wiring with one of these junction blocks and avoiding the need to run new full length wiring for each item. Wish I had seen an example of this sooner. And this would make it a lot easier to test circuits. I'm guessing this is all stuff...

    Bilge/Drain Plug area Gel-Coat CRACKS

I had some isolated fiberglass damage where I needed to carve away areas to get a good spot to patch. The dremel sanders just couldn’t remove enough material but I had good luck with the carving bits. They can dig in and really dig through a lot of material if you put too much pressure on it so...

    Raising a pilot house roof

Sounds like a ton of work but it’s an interesting idea. I’m also pretty much right at the ceiling when I stand up straight in mine. If two inches of added head space will fix it for you, you could look at just cutting the interior of the roof to within about 2-3 inches of the pilot house walls...

    2820 shaft length?

correct, 30" on 2820 with twin outboard. I'm assuming yours is twin, I haven't seen a 2820 with a single outboard and seems like a center mounted 30" still wouldn't be tall enough on the bracket I have. I have the same 2006 2820. You can also check the serial number. TXR would be 25" and TUR is 30"

This a seacock or ball valve? And how to replace based on pics?

Thank you that helps a lot. I'm going to pull those hose to inspect and add some liquid wrench tomorrow and hope for the best. I had done this previously and had it working but of course it failed for the marine survey I just did for insurance. My only concern now is if the 5200 seal might be...

This a seacock or ball valve? And how to replace based on pics?

The thru hull that supplies raw water to the head is having issues. It turn freely about half way then gets stuck as it gets closer to full open position. I expected it was a ball valve but I don’t see where it would thread onto the base. And now that I’m looking closer at the pics I’m seeing...

    Wood in Transom

I’ve read that the transom in Parkers have wood throughout. I’m curious if the area around the drain plug is just fiberglass? Looking at the plug from within the bilge on the 2820, the area surround the plug is not as think within about 4” of the plug. Is this part 100% fiberglass? I’m mounting...

Good Raw water washdown pump replacement?

warthog5, I think you might be referring to my pump in the picture? I don't think IcyAtlantic has posted anything to show how his pumps are mounted. Mine was/is mounted vertical on the transom, just the photo rotated when I uploaded it. Thanks for looking out though

Good Raw water washdown pump replacement?

My local store had a Jabsco for the washdown so I went that route. They didn't have any replacement Bait pumps in stock so I ordered the same model I have now as the replacement - Shurflo Sentry. I was surprised that the existing Sentry that's original to the boat is still working- I'm just...

Good Raw water washdown pump replacement?

Not entirely sure. The boat sat for four years before I picked it up but it was on a trailer. I’ve spoken to people that worked on the boat and know it’s story, so I know it was never submerged. The fresh water pump is still surprisingly in good shape. The last four or five years before it was...
