Can you give some drag #s, ratios, line capacities, what are the gears made of, how is the anti reverse made a bearing or dogs or both? Is the anti reverse tight or loose? Bearings- sealed or open? Is drag dry or greased?

Are you making your reels yourself or importing them?

The thru hull I am talking about is for the useless fish/storage locker that is in the floor at the pilot house door on the outside. The rim of the hatch drains overboard and that is the thru hull I want to change. The fish/storage box bottom also has adrain which just spills into the bilge.

do you remember how the hose passed the stringers?

Would like to change the thru hull that is mid ship on the Starboard side, that drains from the hatch in the center of the deck. Thru hull looks like you can not get at it with out cutting deck or inside of gunnel, also sits about 2 inches above water line. Has anyone changed this?

Do not run it out, the High Pressure pump in the VST is cooled by fuel. Running it out can shorten its life or worse, also its about $850.00. Some people drain the vst tank but i do not, for the reason Dale mentioned above. Good Luck

That my friend should be your answer right there. If its cold enough in your region to pull boat then cover it.

I just top mine off with a charge and leave them in disconnected.
