Dimensions of 2320 and 2520 on a trailer

I've gone back out and looked and measured. For all practical purposes there is only about a foot forward movement possible with the stock bowstop on my Roadking. However, by modifying the trailer tongue, i.e. removing the brake mechanism you could gain another 9 to 12 inch reduction that...

Dimensions of 2320 and 2520 on a trailer

For my 2004 2520 XL on a trailer the height, not counting rails and rocket launchers, 121 inches from the top of roof to the ground. Total length from the tip of the trailer to the back of the engine (when the engine is in the center position) 424 inches. I have moved the boat back about 3...

Dimensions of 2320 and 2520 on a trailer

I'll try and get out this morning when the sun comes up and measure. I assume you are thinking about transporting a boat to Australia. Here is a thought. You could easily save a foot (or more) in length by having the boat set up forward on the trailer. This would of course increase the...

    True Parker Prices

Good Question: Let's say they got the boat in 2004 for about 53K. Hours on the motor? Say 400 and everything checks out fine. And there are no significant electronics..... well, it might only be worth 40 - 43K since there are so many other boats for sale (2320's, 2520's, 2510's) with...

    Questions about a Parker 2520

I have the 15p rev 4. I will someday have it reworked to a 16. I believe with the 17 it would be just a but much for the F225. Read through this thread to get really confused. http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/vie ... php?t=4465

    Questions about a Parker 2520

The F225 was offered on the 2520XL until the the F250 became available. After that it was a no-brainer..... The F250 is the logical choice. So if you see a 2520XL with an F225 it is most likely a 2004 or older. The 2320 is probably the roomiest 23 foot boat out there... the 2520 gives you...

    Questions about a Parker 2520

I have the 2520 XL with an F225. Propped the way it was from the factory it certainly had it's moments when it felt marginally powered. However, with a Rev 4 it feels like a different engine. That being said... Rough Seas = DV What part of the country are you in?

    new 3420 pics

It's interesting how we all might use a second steering station. Somewhere along the way I've kept my docking lines on the port side. I manuver the boat from the starboard mounted bulkhead station and at the proper time take the engine out of gear and go over the the port side to grab a...

    new 3420 pics

It's not so much a dollars and cents kind of argument... single diesel vs 2 X F350....it's just a personal wish. If... and that is a big if... If I decide to get a bigger boat it will stay in the water.. and it will have a single diesel... it will cruise about 22 to 25. Bottom line is I'm...

    new 3420 pics

I doubt it was for weight distribution. I can picture long covnersations and heated discussions about location of the door and since the logical place is either center or starboard, the port side for the steering station was for easier movement about the boat by keeping the starboard side...

Bottom Paint, Verses Trailering, Resale Value

I'd say go for what you want to do. Resale value will be in the crapper anyway. When I bought my boat I wasn't sure whether I should keep it in the water or the yard.... I opted to keep it on the trailer without bottom paint and after the first season realized I would not be satisfied with it...

need est value for 18' parker?

Let me help you out here with some of the basics. To get any closer in price than say.. somewhere between 5 and 15K... there needs to be a lot more details. You mention a 1990 Yamaha: HP? Hours? Service? Prop? Rebuilt or No? The motor probably won't be much of a factor unless it is in...

    Cape Henry Spanish

We have similar fishing over here on the west shore of Fishermans Island. A nice break from sitting around waiting for cobia that don't seem to be around. Time to set the sights on the deep!
