I can see what you're driving at but to me, there's nothing worse than an under-powered boat....

For that kind of use I have a hard time paying 22k for a new 250.

It will be even harder spending $10K on a 150 and then realizing the mistake and spending $20K for a 250 or 300.

Resale will be in the bottom of the barrel due to the boat being under powered.
