I will definetly try WD and see how that goes. Thanks to everyone who helped with solutions. Pete

well, i went after it today......the interior window frames that is. :?

hit them with the bronze wool a bit then some soap/water. after that they looked pretty good so i put some teflon polish on them. if that doesn't hold up, i'll go to the WD40.

Nice job Jim, I wish mine looked like that, hopefully they will in the Spring. Would you do me a favor and measure the forward hatch and tell me who makes it? I have posted this and have never received an answer. If it is not too much trouble could you take some pictures of it outside and inside. If this is too much trouble I can live without it. I want to install one but I need to find out more about it. Thanks, Peter

hey jim , those look great! so did you have a lot of pitting on them? i am going to get right down and get the bronze wool and give it a try this weekend.... they look great and thanks for posting!

mine were not that bad. my PH is open in the back so it gets plenty of ventilation. you could feel some deposit-like irregularities that i would say about 95 percent feels smoother.

On the 2320 i think the moisture source may be coming from the small gravity drained bilge under the helm area. it seems to always hold at least a small amount of water no matter what. I may be wrong but i think if you were to cork the drain hole in the deck, your moisture problem might be eliminated.......just remember to unplug while running.

Peter:

which hatch are you talking about exactly?. i can take pic right now as the boat is uncovered.

so the bronze does leave any scratches? mine are pretty pitted , so i guess it does not matter as long as they clean up a bit.
