Hi all, I am thinking about removing my port passanger seat, cutting out the door to where we sleep and making a long bench, table , adding microwave and a table, woundering if the folding door to the sleeping area has any structural value at all, seems like it does not, or selling our parker anybody got any thoughts on this !

If you call the factory with your hull ID number, they should be able to tell you what is structural, and what is not.

Good luck!

To cut it up today, I called and spoke to an engineer at Parker and there is no structural suppoet at all it is all cosmetic, once finish, I will post pics, having the custom cabnets made and should have it completed by next week, should be sweet, we removed the partition today , made of 5/8 fiberglass and was only a fake wall, so if it turns out the way i have designed it, should be sweet !, we decided there is not a better boat here on the west coast for what we want to do, if I ever win the lottery, I will get a Biggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr boat, but the parker is solid as a rock and I have to much time , money and love in our boat to try to sell to get something better, so Hopefully this will do what we wast ! I will post pics in the next couple of days !
