Flushing the Yamaha outboard

Probably a dumb question and once I hear the answer will probably have an moment, but for those of you that use salt-away while flushing with a hose through the flushing port...but how do you get the salt away in the system? and doesn't it simply flush right out?...or is that how it works i.e. one quick pass through?

Photo, I have not ether, good question. I would think doing it a couple times a year would be a great idea!

You put the product in their 'mixing unit' and introduce it into the motor through the flush port.
Once the product is well introduced into the motor, let it sit until the next time you go out.
It will work on any imbedded salt and work it free.

I also have some SaltAway solution in a spray bottle that I use on my fishing gear to flush away the salt when I rinse everything off back at the dock.

I do, and no it does not.
Everything I use is braid.
