Almost finished one of my winter projects. Pics of old dash, and new dash. Just have to secure a few more wires, fill some old screw holes in the dash, put the antenna up on the roof, put the batteries in and start playing with this bad boy.
Can't wait until spring!

Went with the Garmin over Furuno to save a few bills, but now the Furuno has $1,500 rebates on the TZ touches. Go figure...

Sorry, behind the helm (2520).

Still need to clean up/secure some of the wiring. I did have to cut the end of the B60 off and use the ducer adaptor box which is secured just above the GSD24. I want to use the same antenna mount the old Furuno used which is located on the pilothouse roof, in the corner above the companion seat. To do that, I obviously had to extend the N2K which I did by securing the extension cable with cable tie mounts up under the lip that wraps around the v-bunk area. I secured it every 8-10" or so. It's completely hidden now. Sound correct?

Also, what's the best way to fill these old screw holes? I was planning on counter sinking the edge a bit, thickening some gel coat with cabosil, fill high, let harden and lightly sand.
Any opinions?
