Finally have some time to install electronics. I would like to put the VHF antenn on the port rear corner of the roof and the GPS antenna on the rear stbd corner. I think I can channel the cabels through the tunnels on the roof but I really want to figure out a way to NOT see the wiring coming into the cabin. Anyone have any pics or suggestions?

Installing Garmin 4212; Furuno FishF;

Put speakers in front of the wires... :)

Otherwise, drill as close to the gap between the roof channels and the vertical corner channel as you can and use a small section of wire loom to hide the wire.

I have my antennas in the same place, just opposite sides. :)

I like the speaker install. What does your helm station look like? How did you bring the cables down from the roof to the chartplotter and VHF unit?

Who is the "ghost" drinking coffee in the stbd glass reflection? :?

I have some pics of the rest of the boat, I'll post them in a minute when I'm back at my desk (i'm at work, yay.).

The GPS wire on the port side is run thru the channel along the back of the roof, down the stbd channel, then up under the side where the rest of the rigging cables are and into the side of the helm. VHF antenna is routed the same way just from the stbd side so it doesn't make the run across the back of the roof. I have a Garmin 3210 flush mounted in the dash.

I also have a GMR18 radar dome with a much harder to hide wire. For that I came into the cabin under the dome light, using 1/2" standoffs to hang the dome light 1/2" down from the ceiling. I ran the wire forward just in front of the bulge that runs across the front of the roof, then down the window frame and along the side of the pilot house into the helm.

Give me a minute the pictures will make more sense... :)

And the ghost is my sister. She was actually on a dock well in front of and to the left of the boat but the two windows there did funny things with her reflection.

Here are some pics. I don't have a pic of the run along the front of the roof, but you can't see it from the captains chair anyway.
