Scoops,
I keep my fenders and ropes in mine. Ropes in the bottom door and the fender access through the top. I keep my first aid kit, flare kit, extra towels and rags and trash bags in the crowded one under the port sideways seat. I have the FW tank and tackle storage set-up like you.
The forward side of my bait tank has like 20 Plano storage boxes so that's where all my tackle goes. I put my life jackets in the port side cabin locker but take them out when I'm using the boat. I keep my tool bag, fishing harnesses, toilet paper (RV type) and any other loose stuff in the starboard side cabin locker.
All the rods go in the rocket launchers and rod holders (18 total). I keep my gaffs (3 gaffs/1 tailer) on the starboard side under gunnel holders and two deck brushes (with poles) on the port side holders. Coolers go off to the side under the two front cabin seat pedestals. Anything extra like lawn chairs, clothing, snacks go loosely in the cabin on one side. I keep my throw ring behind the starboard side rear seat and my extinguishers are mounted on the ledges behind the passenger seats and one mounted in the cabin near the right side entry way.
That's pretty much how my boat is equipped and we still have plenty of room even with 4-5 people onboard to fish. I wish my boat had more lockers but it doesn't so I just have to deal with what I have. I don't like stuff just laying around so I keep everything pretty tidy and neat. Just how I do it. Randy.
