Dom,
I think I'm going to go with the lights you have. what In addition to the lights what else do I need to order. I can only run along the side gunnels not along the back. You did say that you had ran the wiring to the panel right? Did you buy a dimmer switch and how did you work it to turn off and on?
Thanks
George

I didn't use a dimmer. You need a special type of dimmer for LEDs.

I tapped the power wires to my "Cockpit Light" switch. Not sure if you have one. If not, just install a switch at the helm. You can just daisy chain the lights all together.

I used these special crimps from DelCity to daisy chain 3 wires into one terminal. (Top yellow one)

I 5200'ed these tie strap bases I got from McMaster under the gunnels. I used 4 per 31" tube. Then I tie strapped the tubes to these bases. They came out solid.

This is just what I did. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways. 8)

Thanks! I'm really happy with them. They don't effect your nightvision as much as the white ones, not even close. I'm sure red is still better for that purpose, but I really like the blue. It looks like "Club Parker".

All you need now is a set of these blue transom lights that Jim was showing this weekend at the Bay Bridge Boat Show.
I hope to have a set of these on my boat by this time next year.
