Parker boats on the gulf coast

I am in the mood for a new boat, but really don't want another CC.

I want something I can catch specs, reds plus mangrove snappers at the close in rigs, and have some rain and sun protection.

I've been attracted to the Parker style, simple, work boat heritage for a while.

I want to look at Parker 21 sport cabin, crawl all over one, ride if possible

According to Robin, the closest dealer is in Houston and he currently only has CC's.

Are there no dealers between here and say Panama City, FL?

Or if I may impose on more local owner to let me take a close look at his boat, I'll buy him lunch, Pay for some gas, whatever.

There are Parker dealers in Tampa Bay area and Englewood which is south of them

Welcome aboard. Gulf Coast Marine in Corpus has a 25SC, a member on here has a 25 SC and i think one other 25SC is for sale in Texas. keep an eye on craigslist, boattrader and 2coolfishing.com several other texas used boat dealers here in Texas might have a used one every so often.
also a 25 center console is for sale. hard to find 21SC in texas.

bought our 21se from Red Wing, we are happy with it but will move up some day to a 23 or 25SC.

check with red wing and see if they have contact with a 21SC owner that is willing to take you for a spin. the dealer in LA. stopped selling them and we almost went to Florida to buy a Parker. not many forum members post up location. i wish they would at least put the state they are from. guess some aren't as proud as we Texans are 8)

Hey Doug,

Great info on the Parker dealer in Houston. Any complaints working out your deal with them?

No problems with the deal, we were pre approved with financing so we didnt have to mess with that.

we forgot the spare tire and mount, didnt notice till we were west of Katy. Called them up and they shipped it to the house for free.

I also bought my 21SE from Redwing Boat Co. It is family owned and I was pleased with them.

Well if you go another couple hours from Panama City to Perry Fla you will find a great Paker dealer with cabin models in stock,,,Big Bend Marine......
