Rehabbing my 1988 pilothouse

Where did you get your engine covers? Are they vented for underway or do you take them off to run?

I'm thinking about painting my engine cowl, but maybe a good cover is an option.
 
Been a while since I posted, but got a lot done. Installed my new fuel tank and floor.
Glued the coosa board in place with 5200 and used stainless steel screws to hold it down.

1” Coosa Board for the decking, the lighter colored board towards the front is the same as the dark board. It was laying on top of the others in the sun for a few weeks and changed color.

Installing the Taco Grand slam roof mount outrigger bases was kind of tedious, I had to make 2-18”x18” x1/2”’ plates out of Srarboard for each outrigger and drill them for the stainless steel bolts to sandwich the existing roof to spread out the load. I glued the plates inside and outside with 5200. They game out really solid.
