I have been thinking about changing out my step lights with LED's so I'm going to go ahead and order these LED bulbs for the step lights now. Going with Red. Can you tell me what base these step lights have. I'm guessing 1156? I'm going to go to my boat this weekend and I would like to have them before I leave. Thanks!!

The bulb is just a tad tall but works and BRIGHT!

used one 20" and one 40 " down the sides
And one 20" on each side of transom

Thanks Sully. I thought you had to pick the base separately because it takes you to that option page after you select the color and quantity. Now I see the obvious that these are the 1142 base. Duh!! I'm ordering some for my riding lawn mower lights too. Lol

I put red in my boat.
The bulbs under the washboards at the back of the pilothouse are the red Superbright LED's.
The other lights under the washboards are LED clearance lights that are used on over-the-road trucks.

Sully, this looks great! I got a question for you. I have a new 2320 pilot house and I was noticing your floor in the stern. Can you tell me what that is, looks like a locking tile system, but where did you get and are you happy with it? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Its really easy to just "Lift" up
or Just spray though it ...As I do most of the time 8)
I pick it up once in the spring and once mid summer and then before I put her away
To tell the truth it hides a lot ! And always looks clean
But Id did go with the black for less sun reflection
Wanted to cut down on the glare which it really dos
I have had mine in since 2004 practicaly not fade and its black still looks great
I use it for grip and dropping Scuba tanks and weights also
Its not like stepping on a rug with bare feet but its not bad for jumping in and out of the water
Search around for best price I got mine at West Marine at the time
They arnt cheap but they will last and last and look good.
