Last week I finally has the chance to take off my rub rail and see where it was leaking. I found 4 poorly sealed screw holes on the port side. They were made by whoever installed the rub rail. It looked like they drilled in the wrong place and then used sealant instead of putting sealant and a screw. The seal between the pilot house and the hull was also leaking. The sealant had degraded and there were places with pretty large cracks/holes that I am sure let water in. I sanded the old sealant as best as I could and resealed it all with 5200. I don't expect to have any leaks from that area after the repair.
