I figured you would probably wind up keeping the boat. I suggest using it for 3-4 years then try to work a deal. You won't take that big hit after one year and the numbers will be closer to your liking.

No, I would definitely be in a better situation in a few years. It just bothers me because I feel my offer was very reasonable. And now I can't even go seek another dealer with a 14 leftover. There's others out there but I'm only allowed to buy from one dealer apparently. I honestly think the offer is very doable

Why would you only be "allowed" to buy from one dealer? I'd look at other dealers...... good luck..

Actually according to the Parker dealer, you can only buy from the dealer in your area. Your not allowed to buy from an out of territory dealer.

As long as the size of the 2320 works for you..........the 8.5 beam 21 degree 2320 hull rides better than the 9.5/21 degree 2520. You would have to step up to the 28 to get the better ride.

Ahhhh......then if towing there is the bigger tow vehicle to consider ($$).

I was actually leaning towards the 2510 xld I think. Like the pilot house but the open ness of the 2510 was nice too. Helm seems farther back too so I bet it rides better

The 2510 is a beauty.

Ok guys, I sold my 2320 privately. Buyer wants to take it ASAP. Now I found a leftover 2014 2520 w yami 300 or a slightly used 2510 w twin 150s. Both are similarly priced. Am I wrong to think that the dealer should be discounting the new 14 even more to get rid of it. The 2510 is more expensive new and is a year newer. What would u guys pay for those boats?

I love my 2510 XLD with the twin 150's. Great cockpit space, still enough cabin to store rods and gear. Helm gives you an open feeling with great visibility. Definitely consider mounting Permatrims. They worked great on my twins, don't know how it would be on the 300. What's the warranty on the twins?

They have 2.5 years left of the ya I warranty. They only have 6 hours on them. Did u mount the permatrims so it would get on plane easier? How is that boat in reverse? I get a stiff cross wind at my slip so backing up is important

Permatrims do help get on plane much quicker and stay on plane at a slower speed; slightly better mpg as well. I haven't noticed any significant difficulty in backing up. I can still maintain the bow attitude with proper engine trim. Twins do require '2' of everything, so the dollars do add up, but for me, the security and piece of mind is worth it.

Congratulations!!!!!! Many pictures or it didn't happen.

Congrats on your decision and new 2520XLD! "LuckyJohn" on here has the exact same boat/power as yours so I'm sure you can compare notes with him. Like "Eyedoc" I'm a big fan of the Permatrim also and I think it would serve you well if you tried it? Good luck with your new 2520 :D

Wow congrats. I didn't think you wanted to take that big of a hit but life is short I guess
I think you are aware that in 2015 Parker added many "standard" features that in the 2014 you paid extra for ex:electronic flushing head.
I hope you got a great deal as now that boat is 2 years old on paper. Auto pilot was the best addtion

The deal was fair, that 6 yr warranty from Yamaha was the deciding factor, also got them to throw in bottom paint, electronics installation, and 20 hour service. All in all a fair deal on the 14. The boat has rocket launchers, 2 spreader lights, windlass, coming pads, 2 seas pension seats, electric flushing head. I think all that's missing from a 15 is that Jensen stereo? Unless u can think of something else I'm missing. Btw I'm only saying it has the flushing head because there's a button to the right on the cabin that says flush! I'm assuming that means I have it.
