Question for the Yamaha people...I've not used Salt-Away before so I'm looking for advice on the procedure...normally after a day on the water..I will return to the marina...tie up..tilt the motor up and freshwater flush the motor for 10 to 15 minutes.....what is the best way to use the Salt-Away....with the motor tilted up...or in its normal running position....any info is appreciated..thanks in advance..

I always fresh water flush my outboard in the slip after each outing. Motor up, and using the flush port.

The procedure with Salt Away is the same. The Salt Away container goes between your flush port and the hose.
Turn on the water and watch the container go from dark blue to light blue as the flush agent does it's work.

No need to use Salt Away all the time. A couple of times a season is plenty, depending on your use.

Tip: Put some Salt Away and water in a spray bottle to keep fishing gear free of salt.
Spray some on your reels and rinse.
