    Eastern Shore Black Drum

The only worms these fish have are in the last 3 to 4 inches of the tail. I've never seen them anywhere else. We had fried drum tonight. I'll also make a couple of gallons of fish head soup! Richard

    caught a monster yesterday

I'm sure Tommy will answer and tell you the method they used to get it out. For now, let me make a suggestion as to how to deal with a problem like this when you are out fishing (and don't want to leave the fish biting!) Most fishermen will not be able to remove a hook without proper local...

    caught a monster yesterday

Ouch! A couple of things come to mind: 1. "You want to hook the fish right in the lip like this.....D'oh.." 2. A lot of kids would pay good money to have something sharp stuck in their lip. 3. I'll bet you'll never do that again. Hope all is well. Richard

    Eastern Shore Black Drum

Hey Folks, Karen and I left Willis Wharf around 130 at a mud sucking low tide. The winds and water were favorable. The sun was shining. We had a bag full of stinky sea clams and a destination. When we arrived at the drum spot I was happy to see that no one was in my place. I call it my...

    Trim Tab upgrade ?

Bigger tabs will make a huge difference. Here is a thread where I posted some pictures and info about the Bennett's I installed... I went all the way with 30 X 9's. http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/vie ... t=trim+tab In dealing with the recess I thought of leaving it.... but opted for...

found something i hate about my parker

The horns are a common problem I haven't fooled with mine. I have whistles. Someday I might get around to replacing them with something.

    Honda Generator

I'll confess here I am a great abuser of equipment.... I start off with good intentions to always treat them well.... I've got a 2000 and all I've done is change the oil when I think about it... I can't imagine they call for maint. you can't do yourself.... I'll be interested to hear what we...

    Good Day!

When it comes to trailering a 9'6" beam there are always many versions of what happens and what could happen. I'll try and limit this response to my observations and experience. I've lived in the Norfolk/Eastern Shore area of Virginia for 20 years. the most recent 10 on the Eastern Shore. I...

    21 Pilothouse vs. 23 Pilothouse

Fore the bay you will have all you need with the 2120 to catch all the species available in all reasonable conditions. A question only you might know is: Will I want the boat to do more once I have it and see how great it is? For example: When I started my search in 2004 I decided the 2120...

    Yes, another Transducer question!

Speed through water is interesting to compare to GPS.... off shore you can tell how fast the current and what direction it is when running.

    Would like to see a P79 and M260 Picture in a 2520XL

None that the average user will notice. Is your transducer attached in any other way other than the sandbag?

    Would like to see a P79 and M260 Picture in a 2520XL

Is this what you are looking for? Also.... from what I know now... mounting a thru hull is very easy and I would do it without worry.... but untill you've drilled a big hole in your hull it is a bit intimidating.

    Trailer Brakes

All I ever did for the 3 years I've had the boat is hose them down..... looks like it wasn't enough

    Trailer Brakes

Embarrassing to say it.. and show it… but this is what the brake caliper and pad look like upon removal….. yuk!

    Trailer Brakes

I've been putting this off....checking the brakes up close that is. I've taken one wheel off and taken the caliper off. It is a mess and the way I see it the only thing to do is replace all of them. I can't see any point in trying to rebuild them. I'm thinking about replacing them with...

    Norfolk Police Parker 2520XL

I'm not sure if this has ever been posted. Forgive me if it has. I was in Norfolk today and went down to Waterside for a walk around. I haven't been there in about 5 years or so. Here are some pics of the Norfolk Police 2520 XL with twin f225's. Richard

    Folklore and Fishing

I've heard a story that goes like this: Many years ago in Hawaii when fish were caught with home made hooks and lures, banana leaves where used to make some lures. There was a terrible shortage one year of bananas and the local chief sent down an order that no one could use any of the bananas...
