My Son and I busted *** today.
----------All the work done today doesn’t look like much....Just made a mess of the boat. We have the pulpit off doing some repairs. The screws leaked and got water inside. I’m not so sure the pulpit wasn’t a add on after the fact? Just some things about it.

The fasters they used. Straight slot screws. Sad smile I hate them. The lack of sealant and there was a single Bow light on the boat at one time. There were some cracks in it also. Just gonna fix it and paint it.

I’m working on the Windless mount at the same time.

Brad has been in the boat all day pulling wire. The 4ga cables are in the front and the solenoid is mounted. Cables hooked up. He’s in the middle of wiring the box that controls the remote.

The wiring and supply hose for the windshield washers is run. Not quite finished with the switch install. The Supply hose is hooked to the STB washer. Need 3 more ft of washer hose to get to the Port one. Used 18ft already.

Yep. That tells me the pulpit was added later.

It's like peeling an onion... one layer at a time. :D

The Nav lights were screwed to the side of the pulpit. They didn't even match. Just ordered new 2mi LED's.

Wart if you are relocating the nav lights I would put them on the sides of the pilot house or the forward top corners of the hard top.

The stock Parker location is piss poor in my opinion.
They blind you at night when running. At least mine do. Not sure how yours were in the sides of the pulpit.

That would be a good place to put them. I can't tell where yours actually are?

Here you can see them on the side of the Pulpit.

I replaced the factory nav lights with 2 mile LED's back in 2004 and put them in the same location as the factory lights.
Very bright to people on the water, but they do not shine back into my eyes at night.

Mine are in the same location as Kevin's, and the LED upgrade has been on the list.

Yeah, I too had put my 2-mile LEDs right where Kevin put his. ZERO glare from the rails.

FWIW I had taped them in place up on the fwd cabin top under the brim and they glowed off the rails forward ...

I have a combo port/starboard led mounted on the radar mast. Bright as lasers, reminds me of a Cylon fighter... If the lights are mounted on the bow, they are not going to be visible 2 miles away on rougher seas. Plus they would get a lot of salt spray. The front corners of the hardtop set back so they don't spill on the foredeck would be a great spot.

I pushing this Hard to get in the water in 10days.

Pulpit repair. All the holes got hogged out and filled with Epoxy/Cabisol...Then they will get redrilled.

Windless mount glassed....You can see the extra angle I cut on it at the front. That so it could be moved a little more forward to butt into the Pulpit.

Windless Relay mounted.

Windless Remote Control brain box mounted.

Shot of Pulpit Removed....You can see where a light was mounted before.

It appears that the pulpit was added after the initial factory assembly.
The holes for the previous bow light appears to confirm that.

Any details on that motor?
I have one that stopped working. :(

One of the guys posted this link.........
http://www.surpluscenter.com/sort.asp?c ... er%20motor

I ordered the 2.5in ones.

The way I wired them is You turn the STB wiper switch on Parker switch panel to ON. The boat was prewired for a STB wiper, but no port wiper....however there is a switch on the Parker panel for it.

But anyway....There are actually 3 wires at the wiper. One is hot all the time. [RED] That hooks to Park on the old wiper motor. Stop that from being Hot by unpluging it from the back of the wiper switch..... Orange w/ Red tracer.

Now you have 2 other wires up there. Orange & Black. just hook those to the new wiper motor.

The switch on the wiper motor. CENTER = OFF & Park.......Up = Low speed......Down = High Speed.

Original wiper motor was single speed.
