You probably are aware of this, but there have been reports that Racor with plastic bowl gets degraded from ethanol and will leak. In my case, a 1 year old Racor cannister was leaking not from the plastic bowl but from the top as the ethanol ate thru the paint on the rim. Leaking gas + ignition source + enclosed space = yikes!!!

I have one of those Racors sitting on my shelf gathering dust.
Been using the solid blue Yamaha branded filters for the past couple of years.
Every time I replace a filter, I always drain the contents into a glass container... and have never seen water.
For that reason, I've never seen a need to go back to the Racor. Of course, YMMV.

Yes the hatch when exposed....[Hatch Cover removed] It has drains in the back. They are threaded to install fittings and hose to route the water some where else, so as not to drip on what's under them. In this case the Racor on the Port side.

Scupper's are 1 1/4in tubes.

Fuel sending units and pick up.

2 tanks.... 74gal ea. They run parallel to the keel.

Can you get your whole body in your bilge?

Bilge work is just about done. There are many hours put in on this.

Today the Temp Xducer was installed and all the wiring and cables tied up.

New GPS antenna install. This is a NEMA 2000 antenna. The other is a NEMA 0183 unit. I also moved it in prep for one day down the road a Radar. The old unit was right in the way and the coax was exposed.

Board a 1 1/8in hole thru the wire chase and the hardtop. The hardtop core was sealed with 5min epoxy.
