Nope I think you remove the scuppers to replace hose or pipe and need long arms to reach them in the bilge. Starboard one can be reached through the tuna door entrance way hatch and hatch on other side. I can’t see or touch the port one bc under battery shelf. We added flexible leaf guard, the old style that fit into a down sprout hole. Hard to find today but very flexible. We use them in the cockpit scuppers to block debris and easy to clean. I suppose plastic mesh type pot scrubbers I call them Dobie brand would work or take some non metal window screening and make a plug and tie together with fishing line. Sorry no pics n not close to boat.
 
Congrats on getting her into the water. As you said, some issues were to be expected. Radar just sounds like some wire connection problems. The fuel issues may very well be fuel lines collapsing? With a boat your age you would be wise to replace as many as you can. Something to check for on the fuel line issue would be to check the primer bulb when you are running under load/high rpm and see if it is collapsing. If it is, then you will know the restriction is between the tank and the primer.

Agreed!! looong double jointed arms will be required to change those hoses. I have no tuna door so both are buried under the battery shelves. I have debated cutting a 5" access hole in the side or top of the shelf to get access to the clamp on the deck fitting. To be honest I'm not looking forward to that project. the insert mounted in the transom that the scuppers attach to must be bedded. Its safe to say that when i attempt to remove it, it may get destroyed in the process. anyone have a source for a replacement or at least know the term for the described item?

Thank you. its been a long journey and it felt good (and very unfamiliar) to finally have her out. I have the shop manual for the engine and I also belong to a Honda forum so in time I should be able to get the issues sorted out. The primer bulb was not collapsing under load but has had a difficult time priming pressure. i suspect the check valve is bad and plan on changing it along with the fuel lines. I also discovered the the fuel line was slightly pinched where the rigging tube connected to the engine. more parts will be ordered and ill try to make time next week for splash #2.
 
Leaking deck drain/thru hull fitting removed. My hands now hate me . Any suggestions for a source for replacement parts?

Under my batteries (on the tray) a 4” hole was drilled. Not sure if that mod was factory or a previous owners addition. I can reach my hand thru and access the joints. One side down....one to go. Once both are removed I need to spend some time online sourcing replacements. Do I stay with the ball scuppers or go to a flapper style? The fact they are underwater makes me lean towards the ball

I have never seen a deck drain / thru hull that looked like that.
Having said that, those parts look like items you could probably source online, or at your local marine store.
2 fittings connected by some outside helix bilge hose.
 
It terminated outside of the hull like this:

The ball scuppers then screwed onto the outside flange. I’m going to look online tonite if there is a cleaner way to accomplish the same thing

Please overlook the dirty bilge (it’s on the list) but here are the “access holes” on the battery shelf.

I decided to keep things as they were. I ordered this: https://greatlakesskipper.com/standard- ... -connector. It appears it’s a direct match. Bronze would have been nice but $. Considering the current configuration lasted 24 years I felt comfortable replacing it with the same thing. For the hose I decided to use : https://greatlakesskipper.com/shields-2 ... er-hose-ft. The Hose is gross overkill but I’m confident I’ll never have to worry about it again and that’s worth it to me.

Each side will use about 6” of hose. Double hose clamps on each side is recommended
